The Ritchey WCS seatpost provides the rider with a lightweight and reliable design that is packed with smart features.

The shaft and cradle of the post are made from one piece 3K weave carbon using a monocoque frame construction. The head/cradle is a extra wide and 40mm long for added support. The seatpost clamp is forged 7075 alloy. The clamp is wide to fit the cradle and has a low profile clamp that reduces stress on the rails and won't bottom out on your saddle. Two-bolt design for easy to adjust and holds the saddle to the post with vise-like grip.

The 3K weave carbon is finished with a gloss coat. This coating protects the carbon and cleans up well. The 2 bolt clamp is anodized and polished to a mirror finish. Vertical Ritchey WCS graphics add the finishing touch to the post.

    This post is sleek, light, sexy, and very comfortable. It is also a huge pain in the ass to adjust. I have been working on bikes for >25 years and have never had this much trouble setting the pitch on a seat post. Other than a difficult set up a very nice post.

    OK, I bought this post because its the best looking one made. But its also sooper light, without any joints head-to-shaft, and I trust the clamping mechanism more than the Easton EC90. My only complaint is that the 2 bolt system can be a small hassle to release & adjust for whatever reason. A classic single bolt clamp with 6mm allen would be great.
