The Ritchey WCS Road Classic handlebar has the round drop shape that is favored by several sects of riders - Euro-style race enthusiasts, traditionalists and retro-riders. They also double as a great track handlebar.

The round or "classic" bend has been around since the advent of the drop handlebar. So we take the classic shape and style and produce the bar with modern materials and fabrication techniques and we get a modern classic. The 135mm medium drop is almost identical to that of the venerable Cinelli Model 64, which was used by many pros including the great Eddy Merckx. The round bend is perfect for those riders who enjoy the look, feel and simplicity of a round bend handlebar.

The WCS Classic bars are made from Ritchey's proprietary TRX50 aluminum. This heat treated, triple butted alloy is both lighter and stronger than 7000 series alloys. After the fabrication process, the bars are ball burnished and anodized for added strength. Indented grooves under the tops of the bars hide your cables. Simple etched graphics with measure marks are placed around the clamping area.

The WCS Classics are available in 40cm-44cm widths with a 31.8mm bar clamp diameter.
