Schwalbe calls the Winter Ice Pro the turbo of 26" studded or spiked tires. It is a folding tire with a performance oriented tubeless ready bead and casing. The Winter Ice Spiker has a quite aggressive knob tread that resembles an ice racing motorcycle tire. Schwalbe employs a whopping 402 spikes on the Spiker Pro. What can we say except this is a serious tire for winter riding. This tire really bites into the snow and ice for perfect traction and braking.

One of the more interesting details of this studded (or spiked) tire is the actual spikes themselves. The core of the studs is super-strong tungsten carbide for long lasting performance. Schwalbe then wraps the tungsten carbide core in weigh-saving aluminum.
