Castelli designs their shorts for both speed and comfort, trying to maximize both. For the Women's Perla short Castelli leans a little more toward comfort with the use of Softlex RS fabric combined with very soft and seamless waist and leg bands.

The Kiss3 women's specific pad uses seamless integrated technology. The soft fabric on the skin care layer is lined with 4mm of soft foam for additional comfort. Chamois cream is optional with this pad. Castelli employs infinite shaping of the high density foam to make sure the right support is located where it is most required.
