The Ridley X-Fire frameset is one of the most exciting carbon fiber Cyclocross framesets to date. Not a company to rest on their laurels, Ridley took the World Champion pedigree X-Fire and refined a few key details. The most significant change is the internal cable routing. This means the cables won't collect mud or get in the way when it comes time to carry. Full-length housing also keeps out potential water, dirt and corrosion and makes cable replacement easy.

The full carbon frame features the requisite oversize down tube and bottom bracket for exceptional power transfer but has the low weigh and ride quality need to win world championships. A matching full carbon fork (with exceptional cosmetics we must say) rotates on a 1.5" lower bearing for rock-solid handling and shudder-free breaking.

Ridley was started a little over a decade ago by talented frame builder and painter Jochim Aerts. Jochim used his skill and a good eye for advanced racing technology to propel Ridley to become the market leader in Belgium is just a few short years - no small feat for a country that lives and breathes cycling. Ridley continues to pursue the goal of building the best riding bikes by collaborating closely with their riders to produce a highly refined product.

Built details: requires 34.9 front derailleur, 31.6mm seat post and a PressFit 30 bottom bracket
