The Alpha 340 represents the first application of Stan's Bead Socket Technology (BST) for the road and cyclocross market. The ZTR Alpha 340 700C rim features short sidewalls and a wide inside rim cavity for lower tire pressure creating a firm tire feel with decreased rolling resistance. The low weight and semi-aero profile of the Alpha 340 makes for a fast accelerating, stiff and strong wheel build to meet the needs of every rider. This light rim when built into a wheelset may be used tubeless with any Road Tubeless Tire, Stan NoTubes tape and sealant or with your favorite clincher and a tube.
