Description
The Arundel Clarabell is a compact brass bell designed for riders who need a way to signal their presence without taking up handlebar space or adding unnecessary weight. At 34 grams, it's one of the lightest bells in the Arundel lineup while still producing a clear tone that gets noticed. The polished brass construction contributes to the sound quality—brass resonates differently than aluminum or plastic, giving the bell a ring that carries well on shared paths and bike lanes.
The Clarabell uses a urethane rubber strap mounting system instead of a rigid clamp. The rubber strap adjusts to fit handlebars from 19.05mm up to 31.8mm, which covers everything from vintage road bars to modern oversized cockpits. The urethane material grips without crushing the handlebar or leaving marks, and it won't corrode or seize up like metal clamps can over time. You can position the bell wherever it makes sense for your setup and move it between bikes easily.
The fixed ringer design keeps things simple. No moving parts means nothing to break or rattle when you're not using it. The bell sits where you put it and rings when you need it to. Works on commuter bikes, touring setups, gravel rigs, or anywhere you're sharing space with pedestrians and other cyclists. The compact footprint leaves room for lights, computers, shifters, and brake levers without creating a cluttered cockpit. Sound quality matters with bells—a clear ring gets attention better than a dull thud—and the brass construction delivers a tone that's noticeable without being harsh or grating.
