The dominant fabric is the Assos developed RX Heavy- a brushed warp-knit fabric developed to provide exceptional comfort, wick moisture, add high levels of insulation, and remain extremely flexible. The 290g/m2 protection weight is ideal for a thermal knicker with such integrated barrier properties. The use of RX Heavy eliminated some technical features the Tiburu required, simplifying and improving panel construction, stretch and comfort. Assos complements the forward facing protection with RX Light, a lightweight, asymmetrical-stretch warp-knit fabric developed to provide light insulation and boost comfort in high-flex areas. The protection and insulation carry a 205g/m2 measurement, but for the rear zones that don't have to block onrushing air and water, the lighter version delivers greater stretch and fit without sacrificing compressive support or performance. Both RX Heavy and Light feature the fiber based ECO water-repellent technology and odorControl system that allows you have a fresh feel without odor on every ride.

At the "heart" of the MILLE GT Spring/Fall Knicker lies the Assos Mille_S7 - a revolutionary insert offering a deft balance of performance and comfort with 8mm of Assos designed memoryFoam which features a shock absorbing and closed cell foam construction. The memoryFoam padding returns to its original form as soon as pressure is released. This means that every time your pedaling position changes, you move on the saddle or shift your weight, memoryFoam foam fills the gap. The foam is placed in strategic areas including around each side of the prostate area to create a well for pressure release. The top layer of the chamois is billed as Assos superAir and is located directly under the top sheet. This waffled pattern design dissipates heat by creating proper air flow, while simultaneously wicks moisture and perspiration away from your body. Anti-bacterial threading is used on the top sheet to help keep the top pad clean and sanitary. Proprietary goldenGate technology sees the pad stitched at the front and rear, leaving the center of the pad free to float and conform to your bod's natural shape. This results in a true organic feel to a place on your body that has nearly constant direct contact to the bicycle.

The bib upper has anatomic and flat suspenders that use Assos's Y7 Bib Carrier strap design. These straps are s-shaped, super flat and move towards the outside of your chest which offer better support while being lower profile.
