The individual panels that compose the Mille GT are all anatomically correct and constructed of Assos's proprietary and bomber Foil Ultra textile. This magical fabric is windproof, water resistant and breathable. Beyond that it's is so low volume it makes the Mille GT totally packable. Total jacket weight is around 95 grams. The sleeve ends and waist are double folded and double stitched so they are comfortable and will never fray. The full roll coil zipper operates smoothly for easy use on the bike. The top of the zipper has a flap that covers the zipper pull, so it will not rub and irritate the bottom of your chin. A dual-layer medium height collar has an soft and breathable inner lining for added comfort and the ability to seal in warmth when necessary.

The fitted and tailored style keeps flapping to a minimum which eliminates the biggest problem for a jacket in this category. The tail of the jacket is slightly lower to protect you from road spray. The lower rear elastic has small silicone inlay to keep the jacket in place and water and debris out.
