The Camionissimo is the highest tech jersey Assos has developed to date. New fabrics designed specifically for this garment and a clever addition of Skinfoil shows the thought and effort. But what we have found to be most compelling, is the fact that Assos designers have found a way to add features and different fabric panels, while keeping the jersey lean, low volume and streamlined.

In simple overview, the Camionissimo features two fabrics for the upper body. Type 002 in the frontal and side panels, Type 220 on the rear panel and a built in SkinFoil base layer. The Type 002 feature compressive hydrophilic fibers that ushers in three noticeable features; it's got a bit of compression but not restrictive, low volume and extremely breathable. Beyond these traits, it's soft to the touch. The collar and sleeves are one piece and panel cut, for a bespoke fit. Attached to the inside of the front panel is a separate, but integrated Skinfoil base layer. Inserting the base layer in this fashion allows you to have this layer only where you need it and the net result being the same performance with much less volume than the traditional jersey + base layer proposition.

Passive venting is achieved by the light and airy Type 220 rear panel. This panel allows for the flow of moisture and perspiration which helps control and regulate body temperature. The lower back of the jersey has 3 large storage pockets for on-ride storage. The handy elastic waist with slight silicon backing helps keep the jersey in place while riding. Full length roll-coil zipper has smooth operation and helps regulate your body temp. Assos's AEPD anatomical cut is omnipresent and features the signature designed to fit while riding shape and profile. Another winner from the Assos brain trust.
