The T.Campionissimo is the result of over a half a decade of the Assos Werkmannschaft's obsession of creating the perfect bib short. From aerodynamic qualities, amount of compression and support, to the amount of volume, weight and anatomic fit, every facet was scrutinized. This careful examination and testing of fit and performance ended up in the development of the revolutionary and magical textile called Type A.444 ergoKompressor. In a day and age of many perfunctory efforts from other bib manufacturers, Assos ushers in the best bib short ever brought to market.

Unsatisfied with that standard selection of Lycra and spandex on the market, Assos designed their own textile, Type.444 ergoKompressor. This fabric offers a perfect amount of muscle compression and support without being too restrictive in a super low volume package. This support comes in two ways, compression and stability. The compression is the Assos ergoKompressor reference. Pressure is applied through the elastic fabric, but provides intelligently balanced compression, meaning the compression or pressure is applied ergonomically and in all the right places, so it is supportive, yet comfortable. This process makes the bibs feel like a second skin and a natural extension of your body. Stability comes from the derivation of Assos's A:E:M:T. (Asymmetrical Elastic Module Tech) design. The process makes Type.444 a calibrated textile that is combined with directional pattern cutting to support muscle elongation and stability. Being a woven fabric it has a high percentage of spandex woven into the matrix for a strong return stretch. All of this technology is wrapped up in a 170 gram, 5 panel garment, with all seams strategically placed for a smooth and aerodynamic surface.

Performance is further enhanced with Assos iceColor fabric treatment which reflects sunlight and creates a cooler and more temperature-stable garment.
