Description

In the spirit of sharing the responsibility and respect for public health and protection, a humble face mask is one tool we can all wield to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. As many communities have returned to partial normalcy, mask use may be required or voluntary, but wearing one can show you care about the health and welfare of others. Remember, you may feel healthy, with no real symptoms but be infected and capable of spreading the virus. Others, even those who may appear young and healthy, may have underlying health conditions that make them susceptible to a severe response to the virus. By maintaining social distance, using simple protective measures, and dutifully using hand washing and sanitizer, we can collectively work to minimize the effect of the coronavirus and protect one other.

We have a limited run of black masks available, with a simple, small Excel Sports logo. The two layer polyester mask is lightweight and washable. The outer layer has a tighter weave is offers a barrier that at the very least limits transmission. The inner layer is a light mesh that keeps you a little cooler and comfortable, and doubles as a filter pocket. While filters are tough to come by, many outdoors types have cut barrier fabrics to size, such as those from Gore-Tex to fit such pockets, offering extra protection that is also washable.
