Wireless electronic shifting puts the batteries at the derailleurs instead of hidden somewhere in your frame, which means you can swap them out mid-ride if needed and charge them separately from the bike. This Campagnolo battery set includes both the front derailleur battery and the rear derailleur battery designed specifically for the Super Record Wireless 12-speed groupset. The batteries are not interchangeable between front and rear since each derailleur has different power requirements and mounting interfaces.

Each battery uses magnetic quick-snap charging ports that attach to the included cables, and you can charge them while they are installed on the derailleurs or remove them and charge elsewhere. The rear battery reaches full charge in sixty minutes, and a ten-minute charge gives you roughly a fifth of capacity when you need a quick top-up before heading out. Four LED indicators on each battery show charge level at a glance, and you can also check status through the MyCampy 3.0 app or compatible bike computers that sync with the groupset.

Campagnolo rates these batteries for seven hundred fifty to one thousand kilometers per charge depending on how much you shift and how often you ride. The batteries carry an IP67 waterproof rating, which means they handle rain and wet roads without issues. The front battery sits in the derailleur cage with a locking lever, and the rear battery slides into the derailleur body from below and locks with a button mechanism. Both batteries have o-ring sealed connectors that keep moisture out of the charging ports.
