Interestingly enough, it is one of the most aerodynamic products that Castelli sells and to that, it features a close to the body fit. There is no gathering or bunching of material, but a form fitting, tailored fit.

The front and rear panels for the Gabba Convertible Jacket has convenient removable sleeves. Castelli managed to offer this in a fool-proof and durable design. Removing and fastening the sleeves is a quick, easy and reliable process. The front and rear main panels use a 4-way stretch Gore Windstopper X-Lite Plus. This keeps the elements at bay with wind and water proofing while providing breathability and great aerodynamics. For added perspiration relief, Nanoflex is used under the arms. And as with all Nanoflex, the Thermoflex core provides plenty of warmth, while the Nanoflex coating acts as a wind and water barrier. Nanoflex is also water resistant due to the microfilament grouping. Like the Windstopper X-Lite Plus, water rolls right off the fabric. In addition, there is a handy extension on the bottom rear cuff of the jersey that acts as a built in fender for wet roads and wheel spray. When not in use, it simply tucks away.
