The Castelli Rain or Shine (ROS) series is versatile in that it is equally effective in rain or dry weather. All too often water proof or resistant clothing and accessories are just too bulky or too warm for cool dry rides where output is high. The key to the Perfetto ROS Glove is that it is made from a textile that is highly effective and blocking the elements but also has a high moisture transfer rate. And it is soft, flexible, and not-at-all bulky. To deliver these capabilities Castelli worked with GORE-TEX to develop the material that makes it possible: INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® Stretch Warm fabric.

By using reduced-seaming technology and the impressive fabric, the designers made a glove that is deceptively warm while staying reasonably thin and allowing maximum dexterity. They have added grip features in the palm and the properly placed low volume padding of the Castelli Damping System for comfort without the loss of tactile response. The silicone print zones in the palm accentuate grip. A neoprene wrist insert allows for a comfortable, smooth hold and weather seal, while providing plenty of stretch to enable easy slip on and off actions. The Perfetto ROS Glove has been given the Castelli Rosso Corsa designation, meaning it is pro-level product. Reflective details are added to enhance visibility, adding safety to it's list of desirable features.
