When the edge of winter is upon you but the roads are safe to train on, you need a thermal bib tight with the protection and capability to carry you safely and comfortably through your ride without restriction you turn to the Castelli Sorpasso Ros (rain or shine) Wind Bib Tight. These step up from the standard Sorpasso with high-tech extra warmth exactly where you need it.
All of the fabrics are exceptionally soft, stretchy and warm, with Nano Flex 3G covering most of the body for some thermal gain and flexible mild wind and water protection. The addition is application of GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® X-Fast fleece-backed fabric panel on upper front and thighs for extra warmth, and you'll be surprised how much of a difference this makes, as the superior windblocking textile refuses to let air in which keeps you warmer, plus the gain from the added fleece. Your groin area is kept safe and you don't waste muscle energy to keep the energy producing thighs warm. The fabric also has high a breathability rate so when you are at your limit, you stay as dry and comfortable as possible.
