Cateye makes some of the best compact bike lights, period. The Wearable X Tail Light adds a fun wrinkle to this USB rechargeable light that straps onto your bike with ease; it is actually a premium option as a wearable light for walking, running, etc. The flat, lightweight design is ideal for directly clipping to a belt bag or clothes, and won't bounce around during the most adventurous run. Cateye offers six run modes, based on need, battery power, and time of day: High, Low, Flashing, Rapid, Pulse, and Vibration. All great names for an EDM club, but equally descriptive for use. Details below, but the Flashing mode has the longest run time at 30 hours. The Wearable X Light also features battery auto save (which reduces intensity in favor of more run time), a low battery indicator, and light mode memory (lights turns on in mode last used).

This 22.6 gram light is one of very few great running lights with a rechargeable battery, and none of those have Cateye's highly reliable electronics. The round light has a 44.5mm diameter and is just 19mm thick, which includes the clip tab. For seatpost use, Cateye includes a rubber strap that fits posts from 21.5-32mm diameters. Push button operation from the top of the light, and USB charging via micro USB cable from the bottom. A rubber cover protects the micro-USB input during use. For those who don't have much experience with Cateye lights, just know that we have found their lights among the most reliable and durable units available.
