BBright is Cervélo's proprietary bottom bracket standard found on most of their road and tri frames, though not on the P5 or older models. The shell measures 79mm wide with a 46mm inner diameter and accepts press-fit cups rather than threaded ones. This bottom bracket fits Shimano and FSA cranks with 24mm diameter spindles—the standard you'll find on most road cranksets from Shimano Dura-Ace, Ultegra, 105, FSA, and others. The system uses an asymmetric design where the drive-side bearing sits slightly inboard compared to a symmetric PF30 shell, which creates room for wider chainstays while maintaining proper chainline.

CeramicSpeed builds the bearings by hand in Denmark and presses them into aluminum cups before shipping. The ceramic balls rotate in hardened steel races, which reduces friction compared to conventional steel-on-steel bearing systems. The bottom bracket comes in Standard or Coated versions. Standard uses ceramic balls in hardened steel races. Coated adds a metallic coating to the races that makes them harder and smoother, which lowers drag and extends bearing life. Both versions ship with CeramicSpeed's All Round Grease already applied to the bearings.

The installation requires a press-fit tool to seat the cups into the frame shell. The cups have integrated dust covers that seal the bearing faces once installed, which keeps contamination out of the bearing system. The package includes the complete bottom bracket assembly with bearings already installed in the cups, two dust covers, a tube of All Round Grease for future maintenance, and a CeramicSpeed decal. The system weighs 112 grams and accommodates cranks with 90.5mm spacing between the bearing seats. You'll need to verify your frame has the BBright standard before ordering—this won't fit standard PF30, BB30, or threaded bottom bracket shells.
