While the Weather Arm Warmer may look similar, and incorporate the ThermoCoolTM yarns, it also adds a softshell protection layer to 85% of the leg from mid-thigh down to mid-shin. This supple, knit exterior, elastic softshell moves and stretches at the same rate as the thermal layer, and is actually quite thin, delivering a higher grade of thermal protection, as well as wind and water blocking capacity. So, with a warmer that is nearly the same overall weight and thickness, the cyclist doesn’t have to sacrifice comfort or dynamic motion. This is the type of upgrade that driven the development of truly technical materials. The inner material has the same soft, brushed finish and excellent moisture management, but passes that moisture to the next layer, which releases it to the outside.

The ThermoCoolTM fabric consists of two wound high-tech polyester fibers that provide superb thermoregulation. With the added layer of softshell material, the insulation is enhanced and protected from the wind and elements. Craft designs the panels of the piece in-line with anatomic requirements, so the Leg Warmer moves along the shape of your leg muscles throughout the pedal stroke without sliding with minimal bunching. Flat-locked stitching binds the panels together and also moves freely with the garment. Reflective logo’s offer excellent visibility when exposed to light sources.
