The Crank Brothers BC18 combines a reversible bottle cage with 18 tools in a single unit that mounts to standard 64mm bottle cage bosses. The cage flips to accommodate left or right side bottle access depending on your frame layout and preference. The tool compartment sits behind the cage and houses a complete multi-tool with hex wrenches in 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, and 6mm sizes plus an 8mm adapter bit. The kit weighs 247 grams total and includes a CO2 inflator, chain tool, spoke wrenches, and tubeless repair components.

The chain tool handles 8 through 12-speed chains and works for both breaking chains and installing connecting pins on 10, 11, and 12-speed systems. A magnetized section on the multi-tool body holds a quick link for storage. The integrated CO2 inflator threads onto the multi-tool and works with any threaded cartridge. The mounting bracket stores a 16, 20, or 25 gram CO2 cartridge externally, or you can swap in a Crank Brothers Klic HV hand pump instead. You thread the cartridge all the way into the inflator, push it onto your Presta valve, then back the cartridge out a quarter turn to release the gas.

The full-size tire lever has a tubeless plug tool built into the back side with four spare plugs stored in the tool body. The fork-style plug tool grabs the stem of the plug and pushes it through from inside the tire. Spoke wrenches cover size 0, 1, and 2 nipples for truing wheels on the trail. The valve core remover handles Presta cores when you need to add sealant or adjust valve tightness. The kit includes T10 and T25 Torx bits and a flat screwdriver. Crank Brothers backs the BC18 with a five-year warranty, and plug refill kits are available separately when you use up the included spares. The reversible cage design means you can mount it on either side of your frame and still access the bottle from your preferred hand.
