The small loose tool that Shimano has long offered is great, until it goes missing. During a recent clean-up we found a half-dozen under the benches in our shop, so having an integrated design is practical. You also get enough grip and purchase to manage the cap, which should never be under heavy torque.

The final two tools are the widely used #2 Phillips head and 6mm Flat head. Both are highly effective for derailleur adjustment screws and any other standard use you put them through. Just don't use them to "pre-drill" a hole in drywall, hammer on them like a chisel or pry open a paint can lid.
