The EXO System bibs represents Giordana at the height of their technical abilities and proves that when you obsess over quality, performance and fabric selection, magic can happen. Jointly designed by the brain trust of Giorgio Andretta and Max Testa the EXO bibs provide a rider with advantages in aerodynamics, compression and added comfort through body temp regulation. EXO is an acronym for EX ternal O ptimization.

All of the EXO bibs have an anatomically correct patterned fit. This gives the rider a precise tailored fit that is void of excess material so you will not experience bunching or nessasary gathering of material. The main body panels are constructed from Giordana's proprietary Moovix and Granfondo fabrics. The Moovix fabric is a 210 gram Power Lycra and serves up plenty of compression for muscle support and enhanced blood flow. The Granfondo fabric has slightly less compression and a higher thread count for a softer touch. These two fabrics are placed in opposing panels so the Moovix is used where muscle compression is need while Granfondo enhances comfort. This yin/yang approach has lead the EXO's being one of our more comfortable shorts. Beyond compression and comfort, these fabrics are both breathable and extremely lightweight. The inner thigh panels use Zaffiro anti-abrasive fabric for added durability in an area that experiences heavy wear and friction from saddle contact. The LoPro 30 cuffs match the compression of the short panels for seamless continuity. The have silicone threads which keep the short legs gently fixed to your leg.

A good deal of time and effort went into designing the EXO uppers. The anti-static Ametista Core Contour waist has enough elasticity for support but remains comfortable and it's anti-static properties ward of energy robbing static electricity. The AeroFix Pro suspenders are super thin and have super all-way stretch. They serve up plenty of need support while managing to be low profile and almost non-existent. The rear panel across your back is the heavily vented Illusion stretch fabric. This helps keep the AeroFix inline and provides added support and structure to the bibs.

The EXO is one of Giordana's top bib offering, so it's no surprise they chose to use the Cirro OmniForm seat pad. The Cirro OF best seat pad they produce and is handmade in Giordana's Italian factory to ensure precision and consistency. They are produced at low heat so they remain soft and do not compromise fabric integrity . The Cirro is a three layer pad, with each layer serving a different purpose. The top is a skin care layer that has Aloe Vera particles integrated into each tread during manufacturing. This allows for the ultimate in anti-bacterial protection and soothing relief during efforts on the bike. Below the top skin care layer is a 4mm waffled memory foam insert. The waffled pattern allows for heat dissipation and moisture movement. The bottom layer is made of a 8mm of open cell foam that has a smaller diameter than the layer above it and serves to support critical areas of your body. The very center of the pad is void of this open cell foam to provide the ultimate in prostate relief. The entire seat pad and all of its layers is highly elastic, so binding and chafing is practically non-existent. The Cirro OF pad is supportive and comfortable for all day affairs, but is also light and low profile leaving the rider with a very natural sensation between the body and saddle.
