Pedaling efficiency and stiffness is achieved with a Easton EC70 carbon composite sole. One of the strongest selling points of the VR70 is the Vibram Mont lugs on the sole. The Mont compound maintains performance at extremely low temperatures and is a firmer compound for maximum support and durability. Vibram Mont is tested on the world's highest peaks and means you will have the upmost safety and confidence up the most precarious hike-a-bike.

The included SuperNatural Fit Kit footbed provides customizable arch support right out of the box to maximize comfort and power transfer, making this the most natural and direct connection to the pedals you can get. The foot beds have a $50 retail valve by themselves and come with 3 different arch heights that can be easily interchanged to achieve the perfect amount of support. Being able to dial in the exact arch support/pressure goes a long way to eliminate leg alignment issues and foot pain.
