Giro's DND Gel addresses this with 3mm of gel padding integrated into the palm, a meaningful upgrade from the 2mm EVA foam in the standard DND. The gel distributes pressure across a broader area rather than concentrating it at contact points, which makes a noticeable difference on chunky descents or washboard gravel where vibration transfers directly through the bars.

The palm uses Giro's three-piece construction with AX Suede microfiber, a synthetic material that stays supple and grippy even when wet.
