Louis Garneau Enduro 3 Bib Knickers

A great thermal bib knicker is a staple Fall/Spring cycling and Garneau makes a great option for cyclocross and high mileage training. The Enduro 3 Bib Knicker features the soft, brushed fleece fabric inside for comfort, excellent thermal retention, and moisture wicking. The fabric is Garneau's HeatMaxx, which also offers moderate compression and a tight enough weave to limit in-flow of air. The entire multi-panel bib features this fantastic fabric, including the bib upper that has stretch finishing trim on the wide flat staps and flatlock that seams offer even more comfort while preventing chafe points. The stitching carries on through out, joining the anatomically aligned panels that flow with the natural movement of the pedal stroke. The 19" inseam terminates in the Powerband compressive cuffs reduce lower leg pressure and hold the knicker legs in place without restricting circulation.

The ideal chamois for off season training has to keep moisture off the skin, provide great padding and smooth transition edges. The patented Garneau Airzone Chamois checks all the boxes. It truly is a feat of design and demonstrates Garneau's considerable history and personal cycling experience. Developed with the B.E.M. (Beveled Molding Edges) high-density perforated memory foam, a material and technology that eliminates any drastic drops of heights at the edge of the foam, resulting in a smooth transition, no pinching points and no chafing. The material has reduced size vents than hot weather options, but the vent are doubled in number to maintain breathability without sacrificing comfort in the design used by the ErgoAir system Garneau employs in their best chamois pads. The foam and fabric used for this chamois maximize moisture wicking while conforming ergonomically with the human body in the cycling position. The topsheet fabric is treated with anti-bacterial solution to combat the effects of retained moisture, which can increase the growth of bacteria. The pre-molded wings off the pad provide superior and ergonomic fit, which is ensured by a 4-way stretch that maximizes the need for the material contour to the body and saddle shape. The entire set-up features seamless construction, and an overall philosophy that relieves perineal pressure by reducing unnecessary bulk or overlapping padding.
