The Yksion Elite Guard 700x25 tires are built for protection and high mileage. The 60 TPI casing gets the job done, and the single compound rubber tread is directional; with siping for water shedding and cornering grip. The Guard puncture protection breaker runs from bead to bead, protecting the whole tire area, and is made from tightly woven, flexible Nylon. It is very effective for stopping punctures and impact pinches, but won't ride as harshly as many other highly protective tires.
