Description

The Meiser Accu-gage is accurate, handy, and easy to read. It works on Presta valves only and goes up to 160psi. The accurate Bourdon tube mechanism saves the pressure reading until reset with a handy release button. The small size and shape of the gauge won't take up much space in the tool box or saddle bag. An industry stadard and still a favorite of many top service staff, even with other options (like digital guages) available.

One thing you need to know about these guages is that you must open up the valve ALL the way... or else it will not seal and will leak air and give you a bad reading. Try again, Anonymous.

THIS GAUGE IS USELESS! The only reason I show 1 Star is because 0 Stars rating was not offerd as an option. I received it today and I would feel better if I had just lost the $15 from my pocket. It is NOT AT ALL airtight. I thought that I could use this gauge to slip onto the valve and then bleed air pressure down to a desired level and then slip the gauge off with just a quick pop of air released, much like a Silca pump head does. When I slip this gauge on the valve, it leaks air at a rate that will empty a 120psi tire in about 3 seconds.

It is the perfect iteration of what it attempts to be. I purchased a Topeak Smarthead that literally blew apart after a few uses. I purchased a Topeak Smartgauge D2 and am not impressed. It is difficult to hold and use and beeps too much. I purchased a Topeak Shuttle Gauge and it is really nice - solid - can do some stuff this gauge can not - but more expensive and you have to use some significant force to crank it onto a presta valve before it registers. But if ALL you want is to jam something on your presta valve, lose VERY little air and know very accurately how much air is in your tire. This gauge is the best of the four and its retro-cool and at a good price point.
