The cage is constructed of one piece of 4mm wound stainless steel, that has been cut once, then carefully shaped and bent, then welded back onto itself. Two mount braces are added and then the entire cage is polished to a high luster. These Nitto 80 cages are made in small batches in their Tokyo facility to ensure quality. Unfortunately, this also means availability is not always abundant.

The tubular stainless steel on the Nitto 80 will not mark up your bottles and is resistant to bending during impact. Bottle grip is tactile and firm to any size bottle.The slightly curved top lip makes bottle entry and exit a clean and easy operation. The loop curves have been carefully designed to engage standard bottles without constantly manipulating the cage to attempt to straighten the bottle in the frame.
