Officine Mattio is a premium-level Italian frame builder that specializes in road bikes, but also offers their own carbon wheels and components. The Quaranta CS is a great all-around carbon road/allroad wheelset that features Tubeless Ready 38mm profile rims, OM machined straightpull hubs equipped with CeramicSpeed bearings, and responsive, lively ride quality. The Quaranta CS is tall enough for aero gain, and at 1487 grams for the pair, still a lively climbing wheelset that can also handle technical descents and dirt roads.

The hook bead, layered carbon laminate rims are built with a 19mm internal width, while the external width is 24mm. The CNC machined AL-7075 Ergal hubs feature oversized shells and 12mm thru-axle set-ups for a stout connection with the frame and fork, ensuring optimal control and stability at all times. OM uses carbon steel straightpull spokes and internal brass nipples with a locking system to secure the 24 spokes front and rear, laced 2x/2x. The disc rotor interface is the Center Lock system, which is also directly compatible with Campagnolo AFS rotors.
