If the GravelKing AC TLC tire is a great mud tire with all-conditions flexibility, the GravelKing EXT TLC Tire is purely for extreme conditions. While this is a GravelKing-series tire, and is surely effective for certain types oif events and weather, the EXT TLC is offered in 700x33 and 700x35 sizes, which just so happens to be the common cyclocross sizes, with the 33mm being UCI legal. As with any useful non-tubular cross tire, the GravelKing EXT TLC is tubeless compatible, so low pressure grip and control are at hand. If you are a fan of games like Tetris, the tread pattern will inspire the desire to play. Offset square edge and shoulder knobs will grab and hold at any angle, while the mirrored center tread will roll fast on the firm stuff, yet offer traction, control and a great transition to the squared edge knobs. The tire is built off the supple casing, rubber compound and protection of the original GravelKing, so this becomes a race tire or lighter weight training tire.

At the heart of the tire lies a 120 tpi super supple AX-a casing which offers a subtle ride quality. On the top of the casing is Panaracer's familiar PT protection belt. This component is responsible for preventing flats and for those who are already Panaracer users, the PT belt is the reason you can go a season sans flatting. This belt is cloth-like in texture so while adding protection, it will not interfere with ride quality. The natural rubber compound used in the GravelKing EXT TLC has a great balance of grip and low rolling resistance. Panaracer chose this aggressive tread with grip and control in the worst conditions, but with enough speed and stability to handle fly-overs bridges, pavement, and hardpack.
