The PRS-7 Bench Mount Repair Stand is a perfect example. It is a great device for home mechanics with minimal space. Many shops actually use these when servicing and working on forks. The additional stability is beneficial for such delicate work. We have even seen them in a shop with low ceiling rafters, mounted upside down.

Park offers the PRS-7 in two versions. The first is the PRS-7-1, which comes with the 100-5C pro-style adjustable linkage clamp. The second is the PRS-7-2 features the 100-5D Micro-Adjustable clamp. Many old school techs and Park users opt for the PRS-7-1, as the beefy cast aluminum adjustable linkage clamp was the number one clamp type for thousands of shops for decades. The newer design of the 100-5D Micro-Adjustable clamp actually accommodates a greater range of tube sizes and is much more friendly to use, with lower risk of damage, especially with sensitive carbon components.

Park ensures the PRS-7 design is easily mounted on any workbench. The mounting flange has four holes, allowing use of bolts or lag bolts to mount and has a durable powder coated finish. With the variables in fastener requirements for your specific usage, none are included. The mount is joined to a composite elbow, which opens into the receiver for the selected clamp system, both of which are removable and can be rotated 360 degrees. A locking lever at the back of the elbow controls the rotation via the friction cone of the clamp end. The specifications for each clamp are listed below.
