If you are enjoying your Park Tool STL-1.2 Shop Stool and find that you spend more time sitting on it than leaning, perhaps you should consider adding the STL-3K Backrest Kit. The kit consists of two chrome steel support bars, a padded vinyl back rest, and all the hardware you need to affix the backrest to the stool. Viola! Now your STL-1.2 is more versatile.

Please keep in mind that this backrest kit will not work with the older STL-1 stool design.
