The challenge for cyclists looking for full length cycling bib tights with water protection and insulation over the years has been flexibility and comfort. The bib upper more than holds up the lower. It is a fully integrated system that does in fact hold-up the lower, but moves , stretches and pulls for overall comfort and fit. The material is an open mesh fabric that eases and releases perspiration and excess heat quickly to the next layer, most likely a thin, fast wicking cool weather baselayer or high tech cycling jersey. It does you no good to remove the moisture, than catch it at the next layer. Each layer must release it outward to keep you drier and more comfortable longer. The mesh bid has a moderate level of muscle support from compression, stabilizing the core. The edges are finish to help the bib straps to stay in place.

The chamois pad has been positioned to complement the fit and stretch, and the system works well for most body types when wearing the correct size. Pearl uses the ELITE Pursuit 1:1™ Chamois with it's smooth, 4-way stretch top sheet and high density, breathable foam that keeps you supported and protected for an hour or 4 on the bike. It wicks away moisture and creates almost no friction thanks the the float and stretch of the top sheet. We have all been out on 60 minute winter rides that feel like three hour slogs. Having the right chamois for cold weather takes the edge off and leaves you one less thing to be concerned about as you consider whether or not to tack on an extra 30 minutes or tuck tail and head home.
