This Bolide Frameset is the TT version, and although dated as a 2018, it is still the current design used by sponsored Word Tour cycling teams. We have this one 52cm size remaining. It has been displayed, but not built-up. The photos show the detail of the actual frameset listed here.

From the experience of Pinarello and the continuous search for new successes, the Pinarello Bolide TT is born. This aero event specific bike, inspired by all the key aspects of the Bolide, has allowed a further reduction in aerodynamic drag and a significant reduction in the total weight of the bicycle (weight reduction of the frame kit greater than 350g).

With the Pinarello Bolide TT, design blends with functionality: aerodynamics, lightness, stiffness and aesthetics distinguish every single element and give a unique and inimitable shape to the bicycle. Immediately evident are the new concave down tube that allows you to "bring" the bottle to the frame, reducing turbulence in an essential area; the sloping top tube with an optimized section; the new rear brake cover, which incorporates the technologies of the aviation industry; the aerodynamic front dropouts derived from the Bolide HR. Each of these small details allows for a further improvement in aerodynamics compared to the previous Pinarello Bolide.

The Bolide TT frameset takes some learnings from the Bolide track bike which Sir Bradley Wiggins rode to an hour record of 54,526 km. Based around top-end Toray T1100 carbon fiber (the same found on the Dogma line), this bike achieves its speed through clever positioning and considerable set-up adjustment with aerobar system. You get ample stack height, as well as aero bar extension reach, with straightforward means to adjust the height and customize the reach. The aero integrated rim brakeset is installed and uses Shimano-type pad holders.

However, its the rest of the bike where differences are made. The downtube is cut out with a flattened rear section to shield water bottles, the top tube is subtly reworked to smooth airflow around the toptube. The front and rear brakes receive brake covers derived from the aerospace industry, and the ForkFlap design around the axle is another aero touch proliferated to their road bikes. To top it off, the Bolide TT weighs in at just 1044 grams. Compared to the competition, the Pinarello Bolide TT time trial bike is UCI compliant. It's geometry is tuned for going fast in a straight line, but it is an excellent choice for any time trial that requires balanced handling and performance.
