Description
Toray T900 carbon sits at the heart of Pinarello's F-Series, and the F9 represents the pinnacle of that platform. This is the same frame material and construction that supports Pinarello's sponsored professional teams, delivering the stiffness and responsiveness expected at WorldTour level without requiring a Dogma-level investment. Paired with Shimano's Ultegra R8170 Di2 groupset, this build strikes a balance between race-ready performance and attainable pricing.
The frame employs Pinarello's signature asymmetric design, a technology the Italian manufacturer has refined since 2000. Each side of the frame and fork is shaped specifically to counterbalance the forces applied during pedaling and braking. The right side of the headtube carries a subtle bulge to accommodate internal cable routing while maintaining structural integrity. This asymmetry extends through the chainstays and seatstays, creating a chassis that responds predictably whether sprinting out of a corner or grinding up a sustained climb.
Pinarello's Onda fork technology completes the front end, delivering precise steering input and effective damping of road imperfections. The fork's distinctive curved profile reduces both lateral and longitudinal shock transmission while maintaining the sharp handling characteristics that define Pinarello's race bikes. Internal cable routing through the TiCR system keeps hoses and wires hidden from view, entering the frame through the Most Talon Ultra integrated cockpit.... Read More
