Description
The X3 featured here is a demo bike, with few to no miles. There may be a few small cosmetic blemishes, but it is in perfect working order. There is one very light scuff on the top tube .This blem is cosmetic only and does not affect structural integrity. This factory authorized sale on the X3 comes with a full manufacturer's warranty.
The Pinarello X3 brings the brand's endurance platform together with Shimano's 12-speed 105 R7170 Di2 groupset, delivering wireless electronic shifting on a carbon frame designed for long days rather than peloton positions. Compared to an equivalently sized F-Series bike, which uses the brand's competition geometry (as seen on the Dogma F used by Team Ineos-Grenadiers), the X1 and X3 feature a 13.1mm shorter reach and 33.2mm higher stack in a size 53 , trading aggressive aero positioning for a sustainable posture that holds up over four-hour rides and rough tarmac.
Toray T700 UD carbon forms the entire frameset, chosen for its balance of low weight, responsiveness, and vibration damping. The secret of T700 Toray Carbon is to maintain reactivity and performances but to offer a higher dampening to absorb all road vibration . Pinarello worked with Toray on the layup specifically to reduce vertical stiffness compared to the Dogma F race platform while preserving torsional rigidity through the bottom bracket and head tube. With over 20% less vertical stiffness than the Dogma F, shock absorption is maximised, and there are nine frame sizes available, each with fork rake, finishing kit and crank lengths that optimise riding position for hours in the saddle . The asymmetric frame construction compensates for the unbalanced forces of single-sided chain drive, and the curved Flex Stays absorb road buzz without resorting to mechanical dampers that would add weight or numb the rear triangle....
