The pads attach via the same mounting points as the originals, maintaining the precise positioning that POC engineered into the helmet design.

This pad set fits the POC Ventral MIPS helmet only. It is not compatible with the Ventral Air MIPS, Ventral Tempus MIPS, or other POC helmet models despite visual similarities between products in the Ventral family. Each helmet uses padding shaped and positioned specifically for that model's interior geometry, and mixing components between models can compromise fit, comfort, and potentially safety. POC is explicit about this limitation and accepts no responsibility for issues resulting from using pads in unintended helmets.

POC recommends replacing helmets entirely every 1 to 5 years depending on usage intensity, and immediately if the helmet has been involved in a crash regardless of visible damage. For helmets within that service window that haven't taken impacts, refreshing the pads extends usable life while maintaining the comfort characteristics you expect.
