The slightly curved form of the Turnix AF saddle offers of the key design points many cyclists love with an Anatomic Fit recessed channel (AF) for riders who require some relief in the perineal zone. This is not just for pressure relief but also to allow air to flow under the rider, helping to keep them cool and dry as they ride- another level of comfort entirely. To provide the proper structure to the shell, PRO opts for a stiff and lightweight in-molded carbon reinforced polymer, then covers it with a super light, low volume, high density EVA foam padding to support the sit bone structures and provide protection from long hours in the saddle, impacts, and road noise.

The Turnix AF is available in a few widths. We carry the 142mm and 152mm versions, which generically equate to average and wider than average.The Turnix AF favors a rider who prefers a more defined seating position, with the ability to slide up the nose as necessary. The shell is stiff enough to carry your weight all the way up to the nose, with enough padding to keep you comfortable for the short hard efforts you may make from there. The AF zone is a huge benefit for riders who sit in place, and could be seen as a limitation to free movement, but in our experience, you can still use the nose when needed. The shell is supported in this version by 7mm round tubular Stainless steel rails, which are reasonably light, serve to attenuate road vibration, and wonderfully strong and durable, with a touch of flex.

The 275mm length is basically standard in many race saddles today, and you find it with the Turnix design. This is a saddle that favors the rouleurs or climbers who may stay seated in a single position for miles, hammering out a consistent pace.
