The UD carbon rims are the soul of the Black Label. Specifically, this particular wheelset uses MR5 (Mountain Rim 5) technology which refers to the precise method of uses different carbon fiber and lay-ups to 5 distinct rim regions - the spoke face, nipple bed, tire channel, rim hook bead and side wall. Reynolds specifies the types of fiber, epoxy and resin to achieve the perfect tensile strength, stiffness and elongation for each rim region, resulting in reliable performance. Reynolds has collaborated with Industry Nine to offer straight pull, Center Lock disc hubs based on I9's Torch model. The rear features I9's ultra-quick 3 degrees - 120 points of engagement, low friction and unbeatable durability. Front and rear feature the impressively stiff thru-axle design for the Boost standard: 15/110mm in the front, 12/148mm in the rear. US-made, with ABEC-5 sealed cartridge bearings, these hubs have been pushed boundaries of weight and engagement.
