Tom Ritchey redesigned the critically acclaimed Zeta rim structure to be wider, lighter and laterally stiffer. making them ideal for great all round road riding experiences, yet still tough enough to endure gravel road rides and cyclocross races that would chew lesser wheels to pieces. Combining decades of historic ride-proven research and testing with modern standards, the Zeta Disc is now available in this Tubeless Ready Comp-level version, offering the legendary Ritchey ride quality at a more attainable price.

With a 19.5mm internal width for the Tubeless Ready rim channel, the Zeta Comp Disc rim can easily and effective carry 700c tires from 25-35mm volume. The 6061 aluminum alloy has proven to be both resilient and when extruded and joined properly, delivers an inherently stiff rim structure. The wheels are both laced 2x/2x with 24 spokes off the high flanged Ritchey hubs. A 3mm rim offset is used in the rear wheel Ritchey's proven OCR system for reduction in wheel dish, which allows the structure to balance spoke tension from side to side for a stronger, stiffer wheel. DT Swiss provides their strong and resilient 2.0 steel j-bend spokes and brass nipples for a secure, serviceable, and durable overall disc hub build. The Ritchey Comp Disc thru-axle hubset is well equipped to match the rims and spokes, with forged bodies and sealed cartridge bearings. The rear carryies an 11-speed alloy Shimano freehub body. An XDR option is available as well. The disc rotor interface is the 6-bolt system, and the hubs are compatible with 12/100mm front and 12/142mm rear thru-axle dropouts.
