Tom Ritchey built his first frameset in his dad's garage in the early seventies. He subsequently rode this frame to many local victories around the northern California circuit. Winning became somewhat synonymous with his frames. A young Bobby Julich and Freddie Rodriquez rode these frames to much acclaim in their junior road years. These road frames were considered the American Cinelli. At the same time, Henrik Djernis and Frischsy won 4 World Championships on Tom's P-series mountain frames. The point is, the man knows how to build a frame.
