This limited edition Selle Italia SLR Flow saddle celebrates the Giro d'Italia. Only 500 were offered worldwide, and will sell out quickly. Selle Italia actually constructed this saddle specifically for the release, and though it is an SLR Flow, it combines features from two versions. The shell and cover are drawn from the SLR Flow Kit Carbonio, and the tubular solid titanium rail construction from the previous standard version of the SLR Flow. The cover design features pink striping and stitching, and a Giro logo. It is one of the most attractive special editions we have seen and will no doubt grace the seatpost of a true tifosi.

The shell is a 70/30 Nylon/carbon blend, which keeps the shell stiff and resilient, but can also conform to your body shape over time. It never gets soft, but does break in. Thigh glides extend down off the top to keep pedaling action smooth and your shorts protected. The cut-out is the narrower version long popular on the Kit Carbonio version. It offers just enough relief and favors a rider who rides on the center of the saddle, with the ability to power off the back, or move towards the nose for maximum downward pedaling force. Padding is thin, but high density foam that absorbs vibration and provides just enough comfort for lightweight riders. The microfiber Fibra-Tek cover is both durable, and minimizes friction and heat build-up. At 131mm wide at the rear, and 275mm in length, the SLR Flow is truly a saddle for narrow sit-bone riders who prefer a minimalist, lightweight, stiff racing saddle with some undercarriage relief (an S2 on the Selle Italia idmatch system).

The rails are 7mm round, solid titanium 316. These rails are the most durable titanium option, and though heavier than the hollow tubular version the overall saddle weight comes in at 170 grams- hardly a heavy weight, and the rails offer longevity and attenuate road vibration that travels up from the frame before it reaches your body.
