The CX50 has many of the same coveted design features as the CX70 except the brake pads are not replaceable so choose the CX70 if you want replaceable cartridge pads. Each arm of the CX50 has adjustable spring tension making it easy to center the pads and dial in lever feel. Concentric washers make pad angle adjustment a snap. The low-profile design keeps the arms out of the way so you won't hit your leg during dismounts. Shimano has engineered plenty of mud clearance. Works for either front or rear.
