The Shimano 7950 inner ring receives completed nickel plated and blackened anodization, then has the outer most part of the ring machined and polished. This process adds strength and rigidity while matching the cosmetics of the 7900 components. It fits all compact 110mm bolt pattern cranksets, but is profiled to work specifically with 7950 outer chainrings.
