Dedicated track and fixed gear riders need a great chain whip for removing cogs and lockrings. Shimano's tool line-up features the TL-SR22 Chain Whip just for this purpose. The SR22 carries a stout 1/8" pitch Izumi heavy duty chain segment that can be used for 1/8th or 3/32" fixed cogs. Shimano rivets the segment in place. You will never need to replace it, and it will never wiggle free. The lockring hook is perfectly shaped and there is plenty of leverage in the handle design to combine with your strength to free up both lockrings and cogs.
