Class 3 classification puts the assisted top speed at 28mph—fast enough to hold a lane in urban traffic and useful enough to make longer errand runs practical without planning around charging. The Globe app connects via Bluetooth for ride data and power customization, letting riders adjust assist levels and monitor battery status. Braking on a cargo bike carries more consequence than on a road bike—more weight, more momentum, more responsibility. The Tektro HD-T535 setup addresses this with 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and 203mm rotors front and rear. On a heavily loaded bike approaching a crosswalk, the difference between 2-piston and 4-piston hardware is real and measurable. The 3.5" Carless Whisper tires contribute to stability under load, keeping the contact patch wide and the center of gravity low through turns and braking events.
