Description

The 2026 Specialized Turbo Levo R Expert is the latest iteration of the platform that defined the modern full-power electric mountain bike. This particular unit is a demo bike at Excel, set up for try-before-you-buy customer test rides. That matters more on a Levo than on most bikes, because the combination of geometry, suspension tune, and motor support genuinely changes how you ride, and 30 minutes in a parking lot won't tell you whether it fits your style. Get it on actual trails, run it through climbs and descents you know, and decide from there.

The frame uses FACT 11m carbon construction with 130mm of rear travel paired to a FOX FLOAT Performance Elite GENIE shock. The GENIE shock uses a dual-volume air spring concept — a smaller positive air volume early in the travel for sensitivity and small-bump compliance, transitioning to a larger volume deeper in the stroke for support and bottom-out resistance. Paired with the 140mm FOX 36 SL Performance Elite fork up front with GRIP X damper, the bike sits squarely in the trail range without committing to enduro territory. That positioning fits how most riders actually use a Levo: long days that mix climbing, traversing, and descending, where you want enough travel to handle aggressive lines but not so much that the bike feels overbuilt on rolling terrain.

Geometry follows the adjustable philosophy Specialized has refined over multiple Levo generations. Reach numbers run long across the size range, the 77.5° seat tube angle keeps you over the bottom bracket on climbs, and chainstay length grows with frame size to keep front-to-rear balance consistent whether you're on an S2 or an S6. The 64.5° head tube angle gives the bike composure on steep descents without making it feel sluggish on flatter trail. The frame uses a UDH-compatible 12x148mm rear dropout and includes SWAT downtube storage for tools and a tube inside the frame.... Read More
