It features a little more padding than the firmest race saddles, which many of us actually can benefit from regardless of the added grams. Specialized applies their tough, lightweight, and water-resistant Micromatrix™ cover, which has perforations to prevent heat build-up and reduce friction. The 7x9mm oval FACT carbon rails are super light, helping to keep such a comfortable saddle weighing in at just over 200 grams while also mitigating some of the fatigue-inducing road vibration that travels up through the frame
