The sleeves are lightweight, so you never feel to the need to shed any layers and full 50+ UV protection provides ample sun protection.

The EXO System Long Sleeve Jersey focuses on aerodynamics and breathability, the two hallmarks of any solid performance jersey. The EXO's front wind slicing panel is constructed from the proprietary A.i. One textile. It features a two filament (filament=thread) design. The inner thread features a special weave that creates air pockets for temperature regulation by maximizing breathability. The outer thread is a durable and thin microfiber that sports an amazing 50+ UV protection. There is zero Lycra content in A.i. One, instead the elasticity comes from the weave itself which is what Giordana refers to as mechanical stretch.

The shoulders, sleeves and back panel are all constructed from Asteria 2.0. It is a straight up 130g high-thread fabric which offers a light, aerodynamic and comfortable fit. The insanely high 44 thread per centimeter tread count makes Asteria soft to the touch and a pleasure to wear for all-day outings. From the elbows down, you get Moovix 210 gram compression fabric for added support and blood flow. The arms are terminated with the familiar LoPro30 wrist cuffs. The cuffs have silicone threads, so they keep the arms in place sans pinching. Wrapped around the back panel is yet another high tech fabric called Host Carbon. This super high-stretch fabric pulls it all together and is responsible for the exacting fit of the EXO jersey. Like the other textiles used in the jersey, it has a body cloning fit, UV protective and has quick wick and dry properties.

The EXO jersey uses a high quality, full length YKK Vislon zipper that helps regulate body temp and is easy to use while on the bike. And as expected, the jersey features an anatomic and tailored to fit when on the bike and in the cycling position. Three standard pockets in the rear of the jersey handle on board storage.
