The Red Flattop chain runs exclusively on SRAM's 12-speed Flattop drivetrains. It won't work with Eagle mountain bike systems or older 11-speed road groups, and traditional chains won't mesh with Flattop cassettes. SRAM designed this as a closed system where the chain, cassette, and chainrings all share the same tooth profile geometry.
